Our journey started in 2001, when we set out to help Subway Franchisees across Europe benefit from the discounts that come from purchasing and supplying products in large volumes.
From day one, we ensured Franchisees had a robust supply of sustainable and quality Subway approved food, packaging and equipment, always with profitability and competitiveness of Franchisees front of mind. Over time, the breadth of services we offer, and our geographic region, has expanded to meet the changing needs of Franchisees.

The Subway and IPC EMEA teams work closely together when it comes to getting the right suppliers too.
IPC EMEA negotiate and contract with suppliers on behalf of Franchisees. We source products to the specification set by the Subway brand and work to find the right suppliers to deliver the product or service. Following Subway approval of the supplier, we monitor and report on the ongoing quality and standards of each product to make sure every guest receives the same experience, every time.

Bryan joined IPC EMEA in 2003, when there were just over 200 Subway stores in Europe. Today there are over 6,000 in the region. Bryan has led and developed the business from the very early days, building supply chains, developing the supplier base network, and ultimately playing a key role in facilitating the growth of the Subway brand in the region. He has over 34 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry, holding senior positions with Sainsbury’s, Whitbread and PwC.

Simon joined IPC EMEA in 2011 and as Commercial Director was responsible for delivering business solutions to meet the evolving needs of Subway Franchisees. As Chief Operating Officer, Simon is making key changes to support the business and how we support Franchisees across EMEA.

Serena leads the human resources and people strategy at IPC EMEA, along with facilities management. She has over 35+ years’ human resources experience including talent management, culture and organisational development.

Jamie started as a Transformation Consultant at IPC EMEA in November 2021, and in July 2022 joined the business permanently as Director of Equipment and Services. Prior to this, Jamie was Group CPO at CEVA Logistics where he helped to develop CEVA’s global procurement to meet the strategic needs of the CEVA business in over 100 countries.

Abbie joined IPC EMEA in 2004 and leads sustainability activity across the supply chain. Abbie has over 27 years’ experience in retail, supply chain, Franchisee engagement and sustainability.

Sarah joined IPC EMEA in 2016 and leads Franchisee communications, corporate communications and events. Sarah has over twenty years’ experience in a variety of communications roles and is also responsible for the culture development for the organisation.

Richard joined IPC EMEA in 2012 following fourteen years in a variety of senior Purchasing and Commercial roles in the food and automotive industries. Richard and his team work on strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, inbound freight and distribution, supply chain data and traceability, new product commercialisation and supplier quality assurance, working closely with Subway to find the best balance between delivering value for Franchisees whilst managing risk.

Ben joined IPC EMEA in 2014 and leads the Finance, Legal and Enterprise Risk Functions. He is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years’ experience in a variety of commercially focused roles.

We are governed by a Board of non-executive directors who govern the strategic development of IPC EMEA and meet quarterly to review all aspects of the business.
All Board members bring a mix of experience, skills and geographic representation. Board seats are allocated in proportion to the number of restaurants in each region and each Board Member is elected by Franchisees in their region.
Board seats are held for three years, and elections for Board seats are staggered to ensure continuity.
